Howard Health was established with the mission of not only providing quality services to clients/families but also to staff and clinicians. When employees of the social services field have overflowing support and happiness of their own, it is inevitable that his/her clients will feel unconditional positive support and energy. Howard Health is built on the foundation of  genuine care and endurance while maintaining and providing reputable services. The agency is motivated to establish a strong, motivated, and thriving team to continue serving the community, families, and youth. 



Each provider has a unique ability and brings special skills & strength to the agency.




Keelie obtained her Bachelor's in Psychology and Social Justice at Miami University of Ohio. She then attended University of Cincinnati to complete her Masters of Science in Criminal Justice. Keelie has served in the social work and criminal justice field in varying positions since 2010. She is passionate to service the community, ensuring families and children have access to mental health services. She thrives to create a positive and healthy environment for families, children, and staff. In her personal life, she loves being outside, traveling, being active, and spending time with family & friends.



Associate Director/Supervisor

Kim earned her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from Ivy Tech in 2012.  Then, she attended  Franklin University where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice in 2014. She has been serving children and families in a variety of roles that include preschool education, case management, child welfare, and mental health since 2010.  Her passion is working with at risk families that need extra support and education on mental health, healthy relationships, coping skills, addiction, and positive redirection.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, her pets, traveling, and being outdoors.



Human Resources Manager

Lindsay obtained her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and minored in Youth Ministry at IWU. She has since been servicing families in the mental health field, in a variety of ways, including residential, community, home, and school settings. Lindsay is passionate about helping individuals and families build stronger tomorrows. During her free time, she enjoys taking trips with her family, playing with her goldendoodles, and working out.



Clinical Director

Jodi Kelley received her Bachelors and Masters of Social Work at Indiana University.  She has worked in the child welfare system for 16 years. Jodi also has experience in mental health, medical and crisis intervention. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends.



Mental Health Therapist

Kate Lynch is a Licensed Therapist with Howard Health. She’s been practicing since 2014 and came to Howard Health this past July 2020. In her free time, Kate is a wife and mother to two twin 3-year-olds who keep her busy. Kate loves being active and enjoys anything from hanging out on the lake in the summer to snowboarding in the mountains in the colder months. Kate has a passion for enjoying life and helping others do the same.



Mental Health Service Provider

Rachel earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Psychology with an emphasis in Child Advocacy in 2014 from Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Florida. Rachel has a passion for children especially those who are considered at risk youth and/or in the foster care system. Rachel also thrives on helping parents learn new parenting skills that are supportive and nurturing for the family. Rachel has over 16 years of experience working with children and families. Prior to her entering the Social Services field, Rachel owned a daycare for 12 years where she provided care to over 50 families. Rachel is also a licensed therapeutic foster parent. Rachel's other passion is animals of all kinds and hopes to have a therapeutic farm when she retires. In her free time, Rachel enjoys being outside, especially hiking, swimming, and exploring parks with her children.



Mental Health Service Provider

Kyra is a graduate of Ball State University, holding a BS in Child Development and Family Studies and MAs in Adult and Community Education, Executive Development for Public Services and Early Childhood Education. She has over 10 years of experience working with children and their families.  In her free time, Kyra enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and pets. She also enjoys camping, hiking, and training for her upcoming triathlon(s).



Mental Health Service Provider

Kendall attended Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology. She is a recent graduate and has been working individually with children and adolescents in the home, community, and school for two years. Kendall is passionate about providing quality care and support to clients and families. She is looking forward to growing in the field and obtaining her Habilitation Certification. In her free time, Kendall enjoys relaxing with her cat and spending time with friends.



Mental Health Service Provider

Destiney graduated from Indiana University—Purdue University with her BA in Psychology along with a minor in Cultural Diversity. She is new to the field of social work but is no stranger to serving her surrounding community. Destiney volunteers as a leader for a young adult women’s small group and is also the graphic designer for a monthly cultural event held in Indianapolis. She is passionate about helping individuals recognize and combat disruptive habits, using that awareness to bring healing and teaching them to build healthier lives overall. Her ultimate goal is to bring creativity, inclusion, and a people-oriented approach into the position she holds. When she has down time, Destiney loves spending quality time with her nieces and nephews, reading, hammocking, camping, painting, and cooking!



Mental Health Service Provider

Koshaun has a Bachelor of Science degree in Law Enforcement and Justice Administration from Western Illinois University. He has been working with children and adolescents for about 5 years as a case manager at a youth treatment facility in Kankakee county and certified ABA therapist in Indianapolis. He is passionate about helping children and young adults transition into adulthood and become successful individuals. In his spare time he enjoys watching sports and spending time with family. He also enjoys coaching youth sports such as football and baseball.

Stephanie graduated from Ball State University in 1989 with a Social Work degree and concentration areas in Family Dynamics and Domestic Relations. She has had the opportunity to provide case management services in a variety of settings and all age groups. Stephanie took time off to raise her two children, Blaine and Rylee, before receiving her Associate in Early Childhood Education.  She has served as a teacher, director, and administrator.  While she continues to believe early education is very important, her true love is working with the entire family to achieve their goals!



Staff Mentor/ Mental Health Service Provider

A resident of Central Indiana for most of her life, Shelley earned her Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Anderson University and she obtained her Masters in Education, School Counseling from Indiana State University. She has worked in the Education and Social Work fields for 35 years. Shelley enjoys working with young families to educate and support them as they learn to recognize personal strengths and gain confidence in their ability to break dysfunctional generational patterns for themselves and their children. When she's not working, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and relaxing with friends.



Mental Health Service Provider

Hunter is currently enrolled at Anderson University working towards his bachelor's degree in Christian Ministries. Hunter has been serving in the community for a few years now working with drug and alcohol addictions. He also teaches Sunday School for his church. When Hunter is not working towards his degree and aiding in the education of God and faith, Hunter spends his time with his wife and loves to stay active in the community.

Madeline received her bachelors at University of Indianapolis in Criminal Justice and Clinical Psychology. She plans to attend graduate school and obtain her PhD in Clinical Psychology. She has been servicing adults, adolescents, families, and residential girls in the mental health field for a little over a year. Her goal is to work in affiliation with clients to help utilize her strengths to achieve long and short-term goals. Madeline's passion are identifying all aspects of an individual’s life that may impact their mental health, well-being including their physical health, support systems, relationships, living environment, and working environment throughout this process. In her free time, she loves hiking, spending quality time with family, playing with her golden retriever, and working out.



Staff Mentor/ Mental Health Service Provider

Maritza has a BS in Criminal Justice from Trine University and is currently working full time on her Masters in Business Administration at Trine. She worked at the Steuben County Prosecutor's Office from 2003-2007, Marion County DCS from 2007-2011, and was the Catering Manager for Paradise Bakery in Carmel, as well as the Catering Manager for Which Wich. She returned to social work in 2015 at Choices Coordinated Care Solutions, became a Guardian ad Litem in 2017. Maritza returned to choices from 2018 until she joined Howard Health in 2020.

Spencer graduated from Butler University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She plans to attend graduate school and become an Art Therapist. Before joining Howard Health, she worked with adults facing homelessness and helped them apply for supportive housing.

Kim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Child Development and Family Life.  She later obtained a Master of Science in Psychology.  Kim has a passion for children and helping others.  With over 20 years of experience working with children and families, Kim owned a daycare for several years before starting a career in social services. She has worked as a Family Case Manager and a Care Coordinator providing Wraparound services.  She enjoys relaxing and traveling.

Nikki is currently enrolled at Indiana Wesleyan University, where she will complete a degree in Business Management with an HR focus and minoring in Public Relations. And then on to grad school! Nikki has spent her entire adult life in public service with many certifications and has served on several community boards for multiple years. Nikki enjoys traveling, reading, and sports with her husband and children in her free time.

Grant graduated from the University of Indianapolis with Bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Studio Art. He has volunteered or worked with youth for more than 5 years prior to becoming employed at Howard Health LLC. Outside of work, Grant practices freelance illustration

Our end goal is to provide services which will ensure the safety of children, reunification of families, and create a balance within individuals.

Howard Health, LLC is a Medicaid Provider and certified by the Department of Mental Health and Addiction.

Howard Health has a partnership with Choices Coordinated Care Solutions and Indiana Department of Child Services.

Establishing Healthy Change

Services for Habilitation will consist of working with children and youth in regards to improving his/her level of functioning, quality of life, social skills, and strengths. Provider will work with individuals in regards to identifying feelings, managing emotions, healthy communication, decision making, turning peer pressure into pro-social skills, integrate positive coping skills, and acquire appropriate interactions with adults & peers. Provider will utilize the community and client’s home in regards to learning and practicing skills. 

Family Support Training consists of the provider ensuring positive and consistent support for caregivers. Provider will work with caregivers in regards to incorporating a healthy lifestyle, practical living & decision-making skills, child development and parenting, home management skills, and utilizing appropriate resources in the community for continued positive growth and natural supports. Provider will demonstrate skills for conflict resolution, and coping skills. Caregivers will have the opportunity to be educated on the understanding of mental health and positive de-escalation skills.


Quality Self Care & Love

Howard Health will provide therapeutic services within the home/community of the client. The therapist will conduct an appropriate treatment plan and assessment to acquire appropriate goals and diagnosis of the client. Provider will ensure healthy therapeutic intervention, coping skills, cognitive behavioral therapy, functional family therapy, trauma focused, motivational interviewing, and other approved treatment models which best fit the needs of the individual/family.

A Happier, Healthier You

Casework will be a service provided to individuals in his/her home or community. Casework goals will consist but not be limited to: housing, employment, drug/alcohol treatment resources, employment, and ability to maintain an efficient and healthy lifestyle for the family. Howard Health will utilize appropriate resources to fit client needs/goals.


Here For You

Provider will conduct supervised visitations in compliance with the family’s goals/needs. Provider will have parents sign a contract in regards to expectations and guidelines during supervised visitations. Howard Health’s goal of supervised visitations is to promote healthy relationship building, parenting skills, safety of the children, and promote reunification. Provider will ensure a safe environment for visitations, will provide structure and guidance throughout the visitation, and will provide effective feedback for caregivers to improve parenting skills. Provider will have the ability to provide transportation to and from visitations.
